MULTISAFE 870
is the multipoint panic-exit locking mechanism, suitable for emergency doors in public buildings and areas with high traffic volumes.
From the outside the building is protected against unauthorized access. From the inside the door can be opened at any time and used as an emergency exit, in case of need.

Function
Outside:The inactive leaf gets automatically locked up- and downwards by closing the door. The locking, respectively the unlocking, of the corridor leaf is made by two key turns.
For locks with a solid spindle the latch restriction is made with the cylinder key over the transmission. Becuase of an optimal lock drive the latch can be operated simply by the key.
On locks with split follower the latch get restricted over the lever. Please notice that this design needs an fitting with a split follower.

Inside: The inactive leaf is automatically locked up- and downwards by closing the door. The corridor leaf is locked with two key turns as it is on the outside.
Additional the doors can be opend over the panic exit bar (panic opening) - no matter which part is activated. After a panic opening the doors can be locked by a simple key turn.
